N-(2-Hydroxybenzyl)phenethylamine (x-NBOH)
The x-NBOH compounds are a chemical class of organic compounds derived from the core N-benzylphenethylamine structure, carrying a hydroxyl group at the benzyl 2-position. They keep the 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine core and N-benzyl arm of the wider family, with the hydroxyl substituent being the distinguishing change. Members act as potent serotonergic psychedelics at the 5-HT2A receptor, closely related to the NBOMes.
