N-(2-Fluorobenzyl)phenethylamine (x-NBF)
The x-NBF compounds are a chemical class of organic compounds derived from the core N-benzylphenethylamine structure, carrying a fluorine atom at the benzyl 2-position. They keep the 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine core and N-benzyl arm of the wider family, with the fluorine substituent being the distinguishing change. Members act as serotonergic psychedelics at the 5-HT2A receptor, with generally somewhat reduced receptor affinity relative to the NBOMe series they are bioisosteres of.
