N-(3-Methoxybenzyl)phenethylamine (x-NB3OMe)

The x-NB3OMe compounds are a chemical class of organic compounds derived from the core N-benzylphenethylamine structure and are positional isomers of the NBOMes, with the methoxy group moved to the benzyl 3-position. They otherwise retain the 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine core and N-benzyl arm of the family. Members act as serotonergic psychedelics, but the 3-position methoxy markedly lowers 5-HT2A affinity relative to the 2-position parents.
