1cP-LSD
1cP-LSD is a semisynthetic psychedelic of the lysergamide class and an acylated derivative of LSD.citation needed It was first developed by Lizard Labs around 2019 as a legal alternative following the anticipated prohibition of 1P-LSD in Germany. It is structurally related to other LSD analogs such as 1P-LSD, 1B-LSD, and ALD-52.1 Research has demonstrated that it functions as a prodrug of LSD,citation needed with anecdotal reports describing near-identical effects.

In comparison to other psychedelics such as Psilocin, LSA and Ayahuasca, 1cP-LSD is significantly more stimulating and fast paced in terms of the specific style of thought stream which it produces and contains a large number of potential effects.

Geometry
The visual geometry of 1cP-LSD can be described as more similar in appearance to that of 2C-B and the 2C-x family than psilocin, LSA, or DMT. They can be comprehensively described as unstructured in organization, algorithmic and digital in geometric style, intricate in complexity, large in size, fast and smooth in motion, multicoloured in scheme, bright and flat in colour, and sharp in their edges with extremely angular corners. At higher dosages they consistently result in states of Level 7A visual geometry.
Hallucinatory States
1cP-LSD is capable of producing a full range of low and high level hallucinatory states in a fashion that is significantly less consistent and reproducible than that of many other commonly used psychedelics.

1cP-LSD is a prodrug of LSD, with its psychedelic effects mediated through the activity of LSD at serotonin 5-HT2A receptors, where it acts as a partial agonist.citation needed In rodent studies, 1cP-LSD produces the head-twitch response (a behavioral marker of 5-HT2A receptor activation) with potency comparable to 1P-LSD.1 Direct pharmacological characterization of 1cP-LSD at specific receptor targets remains limited.
Pharmacokinetics
Incubation with human serum formed LSD, supporting the interpretation of 1cP-LSD as an LSD prodrug. In a separate human-liver-microsome experiment, researchers detected 1cP-LSD and 10 metabolites; the parent compound declined with an in-vitro microsomal half-life of 5 minutes, and carboxylesterase activity accounted for most of that decrease. The five-minute value is an in-vitro microsomal result, not a human plasma elimination half-life, and these studies did not determine oral bioavailability or a clinical elimination half-life.
