1D-LSD

Since 19 April 2024, 1D-LSD has been structurally covered by the generic lysergamide definition in Anlage II Z 11 of the Neue-Psychoaktive-Substanzen-Verordnung, rather than being expressly named. Under § 4 of the Neue-Psychoaktive-Substanzen-Gesetz, production, import, export, supply, and procuring the substance for another person are punishable when undertaken with intent to obtain an advantage and with intent that another person or a third party use the substance to achieve a psychoactive effect. The basic offence carries up to two years' imprisonment, and the penalty is one to ten years if the offence causes a person's death or serious bodily injury to a larger number of people. Section 5 permits confiscation even without prosecution or conviction unless lawful use and safeguards against psychoactive use are established.

Since 27 June 2024, 1D-LSD has been covered in Germany by the generic structural definition for Δ9,10-ergolenes in Anlage 1 Nr. 5.2 of the Neue-psychoaktive-Stoffe-Gesetz (NpSG), rather than by name. The definition covers derivatives up to 600 u and permits at R1 a carbonyl-linked, arbitrarily substituted ring system containing three to seven ring atoms. The NpSG prohibits trade, placing on the market, manufacture, import, export, transit, acquisition, possession, and administration to another person, while Section 3(2) exempts the recognized commercial, industrial, scientific, and official uses specified there.
