Nitazepipne

Nitazepipnes are a chemical class of organic compounds derived from the core nitazene structure, carrying a piperidine ring in place of the flexible ethylamine sidechain. They otherwise retain the 2-benzylbenzimidazole scaffold of the parent nitazenes and act as agonists at the mu-opioid receptor. As with the wider nitazene family, their potency and overdose risk are extreme. The piperidine-bearing sidechain is the feature that distinguishes them from the open-chain nitazenes.
