Extremely LowAs a classical psychedelic tryptamine, 4-HO-MPT is not considered to have significant abuse potential or habit-forming properties. Psychedelics of this class are generally not associated with compulsive redosing patterns.
Physical
Extremely LowClassical psychedelic tryptamines are not known to produce physical dependence or withdrawal symptoms.
Psychosis Risk
As with other psychedelics, there may be risk of adverse psychological reactions including psychosis, particularly when combined with lithium, cannabis, or stimulants. Susceptible individuals may be at elevated risk.
Seizure Risk
The combination with lithium is reported to significantly increase the risk of seizures. Tramadol may also trigger seizures in susceptible individuals when combined with psychedelics.
