2-MMC is a substituted cathinone1 and designer drug with stimulant and entactogenic properties. First identified in Sweden in 2014, it is a positional isomer of the better-known 3-MMC and mephedrone (4-MMC).citation needed Despite its cathinone structure, its effects have been compared more closely to those of amphetamine and 2-FA, leaning toward functional stimulation. As a research chemical, limited data exists regarding its safety profile and long-term effects.

Subjective Effects

Legacy content. A statistically backed ontology from Mindstate Design Labs is coming soon.

2-MMC is described as a stimulant with euphoric effects. Despite its chemical relationship to cathinones such as mephedrone and 3-MMC, its effects are characterized as resembling those of 2-FA or amphetamine more closely than other substituted cathinones.
