SingaporeIllegalSince 1 May 2016, 5-EAPB has been listed as a Class A drug in Part 1 of the First Schedule to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973. Paragraph 18(10) expressly lists 1-(1-Benzofuran-5-yl)-N-ethylpropan-2-amine under the name 5-EAPB and includes its 4-yl, 6-yl and 7-yl isomers. Paragraph 18 also covers salts, stereoisomeric forms, preparations and products containing a listed compound. Sections 5 to 8 make trafficking, manufacture, import, export, possession and consumption offences except where authorised by the Act.
United KingdomIllegal5-EAPB falls within the structural group listed in Schedule 2 Part II paragraph 1(e) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and is controlled as a Class B drug. The classification took effect on 10 June 2014 and covers the free base and its salts, including the hydrochloride form. Subject to applicable regulations, licences, exceptions and statutory defences, the Act restricts possession, possession with intent to supply, production, supply, offers to supply, import and export.
