bk-2c-B
bk-2C-B is a psychedelic substance of the phenethylamine class and a β-keto derivative of 2C-B. Richard Glennon and colleagues first reported it in the scientific literature in 2004, and it later appeared as a novel designer drug on European markets in 2013. While it did not generate significant excitement upon its appearance, it remained consistently available and was sampled by a relatively large number of users. The drug is administered orally.
Dosage & Duration
Dosage
Doses are population estimates that vary widely between individuals.
Individual responses to this substance vary considerably. Oral bioavailability is significantly reduced when the compound is dissolved in water; using gel capsules or wrapping the material in cigarette paper and consuming it with an acidic drink improves absorption. The intranasal route is generally poorly tolerated.

Pharmacology
Pharmacodynamics
bk-2C-B acts as a serotonin 5-HT2A receptor agonist with very low potency. It is the β-keto derivative of 2C-B.
Pharmacokinetics
Interactions
An unlisted combination is an unknown one, not a safe one. Check a dedicated combination chart before mixing.

Toxicity
The extracted material describes highly variable reported doses and long duration, but gives no toxic or lethal dose.
A user report describes mental fatigue, psychedelic stimulation, and increasing difficulty hiding intoxication.
The user report describes body strain and high body load.
Dilated pupils were observed in the user report.
History & Culture
bk-2C-B was first characterized in the scientific literature in 2004 by pharmacologist Richard Glennon and his research team, who synthesized and studied the compound as part of investigations into phenethylamine structure-activity relationships. The substance remained largely obscure until 2013,…
