Surprisingly Nauseous and Disappointing

Introduction
I had previously tried this substance at a dose of 16mg a month prior, and felt it was a bit lackluster with the exception of minor headspace changes. I had assumed the lack of visuals or noticeable effects was due to a lower potency, so I tried it at a larger dosage this time around. In retrospect, you’d probably have a better time sticking to 15mg-20mg for meditation or microdosing reasons.
Onset
I dosed 49mg of the substance. I was on a video call with a couple friends just hanging out.
Peak
I’m beginning to notice the initial effects of the substance and I’m feeling quite nauseous, and decide to hop off the call to lie in bed, in order to try to get more comfortable.
My stomach is in pain, and I’m getting an all-too-familiar " “too much serotonin” type feeling throughout my entire body. There is nothing pleasant about this, and I’m not really noticing anything in terms of visuals or headspace changes.
Offset
It’s reaching my bedtime, and I’ve just spent the entire trip talking to friends on my phone trying to be comfortable. The effects are finally winding down, so I decide to sleep.
Conclusion / Aftermath
This substance was surprisingly disappointing, and it seems like methoxyl esters of base tryptamines don’t have a predictable relationship, especially given the potency differences across various 5-MeO tryptamines.
